Deesha Philyaw with Mother's Day Roses and Her Cell Phone

Deesha Philyaw is a good friend of mine.  She is a writer and co-founder of the blog Co-parenting 101.  When I asked her what she wanted to do for her tone, she expressed that she wasn’t exactly sure.  All she knew was that she wanted to make a ringtone for her fiancee, Coburn.  Her first idea was to name all the places that they have visited together–I reminded her that all the tones produced within this public art project are designed to be shared with others.  She came up with something very romantic–a tone in which she says, “I love you,” in English, French, Spanish, Italian, Kiswahili.  Here’s Deesha’s Tone.
