The Turia Fountain Tone (Valencia, Spain)

The Turia Fountain sits outside the Basilica of Nuestra Señora de los Desamparados in the Plaza de la Virgen. It’s most certainly what Valencia sounds like. And water is very important to this agricultural region. The fountain represents the Turia river in human form surrounded by its tributaries.

The audio from the Turia Fountain is one of the Valencian sounds that I captured from the airspace (public property) myself. I found the sound comforting when traveling back and forth through the city’s historic center. Here’s the Turia Fountain Tone.
